As an accomplished HR Professional with over a decade of expertise, Shonna brings a wealth of experience in benefits administration, talent and performance management, recruitment, employee engagement and employee relations. She has worked with in many industries including oil & gas, not-for-profits, healthcare and media agencies. The last few years Shonna worked as an HR consultant for many start-ups providing guidance and coaching through high-level employee relation issues and creating HR initiatives.
Shonna serves as the G-1, the principal staff officer for human resources at Front Line Mobile Health. In this senior HR role, she leads the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives that align with the organization’s overarching business goals. Her expertise encompasses talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, and compliance, ensuring a cohesive and engaged workforce. With a focus on enhancing personnel readiness and information management, Shonna coordinates HR support and services across the organization. She plays a pivotal role in driving talent management processes, including recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. In addition to overseeing compensation and benefits programs, Shonna ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, developing policies that reflect industry best practices. Passionate about helping people, Shonna is dedicated to promoting a positive work environment where employees feel valued and supported. She addresses complex employee relations issues with empathy and fairness, fostering open communication and inclusivity within the workplace.
Outside of her professional commitments, Shonna is passionate about her husband, two boys, yoga and reading.
