We Are Different. We Are Built For This.
Front Line Mobile Health is a veteran-owned healthcare services provider specializing in common sense and evidence-based occupational medical exams for public safety professionals. Our staff is made up of doctors, physician assistants, and other specialists with extensive military, occupational, and workers’ compensation experience.
Our motto is “from the line, to the line,” referring to our background serving on the front line of our nation’s military. Almost all of our medical providers started on the line as combat medics, infantry and armor officers, engineers, and aviation navigators. Responding to traumatic injuries, medical emergencies, and difficult life circumstances are shared experiences between the military and public safety. This allows us to connect with our patients in ways other medical providers cannot.
In 2016, founder Russ Burnham started Front Line as a healthcare solution for fire departments. After speaking with local law enforcement and emergency service leaders, Burnham realized specialized medical management was needed in those professions as well. He also quickly discovered that fire and police chiefs did not have medical staff officers and were not being provided the information they needed to make meaningful change as it related to the health of their teams. Using this information and combining it with his 20 years of military experience as a special staff officer to commanders, Front Line was born and became committed to changing this narrative for the betterment of all.
Today, we are continually looking for ways to reduce suffering and prevent disease through patient education, data analysis and one-on-one interactions — all leading to higher performance and a healthier, longer life for our patients, and improved readiness for our clients. And it is more than just conducting an exam or performing a physical. At Front Line, our shared experiences help us build long-lasting relationships of trust and understanding with our patients and partners — because we recognize what it means to serve.
