Director of Human Performance and Forensic Psychologist
Dr. Rebecca Blood spent the majority of her professional career as a military clinical psychologist, completing a combined 22 years in both the United States Air Force and United States Army. During her military tenure, she served as an aeromedical psychologist, trained security force advisors using operational and performance psychology principles, worked with the Army Research Institute, and provided clinical services to thousands of service members across all service branches. Dr. Blood was selected for the prestigious APA-accredited forensic psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She served as an expert witness and consultant on numerous forensic cases to include capital murder, sexual assault, attempted murder, and domestic violence. She has delivered invited lectures to Judge Advocate General attorneys, national intelligence commands, and operational units. She has conducted and oversaw hundreds of specialty evaluations, including White House suitability screenings, Personnel Reliability and Nuclear Surety Program evaluations, high-level national security assessments, fitness for duty evaluations, and worked with several assessment and selection programs.
Dr. Blood has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national and international conferences, and received multiple awards and honors, including the National Infantry Association Order of St. Maurice and the Army Aviation Association of America Order of St. Michael. Some of her completed trainings include the Judge Advocate General OBC Criminal Law Course, Command and General Staff College, Army Medical Officer Advanced Course, Combat Operational Stress Control, Aeromedical Psychology Course, and the Army Medical Officer Basic Course.
Dr. Blood also works for Medical Equation, completing insurance requested peer reviews and independent psychological evaluations in the context of worker’s compensation and disability cases. She provides expert testimony and consultation for contested case hearings.
