Early in her military career, Chelsea served as a medical laboratory technician where she was responsible for phlebotomy, specimen processing and testing, and blood transfusion services. After attending and completing the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, she became a battalion Physician Assistant where she was the primary care manager for over 500 men and women. After attending the U.S. Army Flight Surgeon’s course, she served as a battalion Aeromedical Physician Assistant providing primary care to over 500 pilots and aviation support personnel. She later served as the Senior Brigade Physician Assistant for the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade at Fort Hood, Texas.
Chelsea has extensive experience in primary care and occupational medicine. She has treated patients in multitude of settings and is the most experienced Aeromedical Physician Assistant at Front Line. Chelsea completed her active duty Army career in October of 2020 and transitioned to the Texas Army National Guard before joining the staff at Front Line full time.
Her military education includes the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, Officer Basic Course, Army Flight Surgeon Course, Captain’s Career Course, Tactical Combat Medical Care Course, and the Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Basic Skills Course. She has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal and was inducted as a member of Pi Alpha.
