    @FrontlineMH

    This month, Front Line Mobile Health cared for 1,971 patients across 20 departments, including firefighters and law enforcement officers.

Behind every number is a first responder, a department, and a community counting on them to stay healthy and ready to serve.

Thank you to the departments that continue to trust Front Line with the health of their people!
    Fit for duty should never be the finish line.

First responders deserve occupational health that looks beyond today and prioritizes early detection, prevention, and longevity.

Fort Worth Police Officer, Andrew Foulkrod shares a perspective that reinforces why the goal has to be bigger than simply staying ready for the job. It’s about being there for everything that comes after the badge.

Leaders, is your health program built to protect your people for the long haul?

    If you're struggling today, know this: you don't have to carry it by yourself. Whether it's talking with a trusted coworker, a peer support team member, a chaplain, a loved one, or a culturally competent mental health professional, there are people who want to help. Suicide is preventable, and recovery is possible. At FLMH, we're honored to support the men and women who serve our communities every day. This month, and every month, let's continue building a culture where asking for help is viewed as another act of courage.

    Many first responders worry that asking for help means they'll be seen differently. The truth is, resilience isn't about never struggling, it's about recognizing when you need support and taking action before stress becomes overwhelming. Just like you wouldn't ignore a physical injury, your mental health deserves attention, too. Seeking help early can improve your well-being, strengthen your relationships, and help you continue doing the job you love.

    We honor those who ran toward danger when others were running away. We remember the families who never got to welcome their loved ones home. And we recognize the first responders who continue to live with the physical and emotional impact of that day.

To every first responder who answers the call today: your service, sacrifice, and courage are not forgotten.

    THE BADGE COMES WITH HEALTH RISKS, TOO.

Law enforcement officers face occupational health risks that extend far beyond what happens on shift:
• 4.5X higher risk of dying from cardiovascular causes
• 30–70X increased risk of a cardiac event during a pursuit or restraint
• 22% develop metabolic syndrome, doubling the risk of heart attack and stroke
• 200 officers are lost to suicide each year nationwide

Knowing the risks is the first step. Finding them early can change the outcome.
